Almost 420,000 Tourists a Year Come to Donostia-San Sebastián
Donostia-San Sebastián is becoming a mature travel destination, as shown by the year-over-year rise in the number of visitors and their hotel stays.
In 2009, tourists totalled 420,000 and they accounted for 821,000 overnight stays, which means the average stay was 2.7 days.
These facts indicate 3% growth vis-à-vis 2008.
Tourism surveys reveal the city is chosen as both a holiday and a business travel destination.
